As part of the new law commencing on Friday 25th May 2018, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), it is now necessary for me to inform all of my customers at Doctor Dolittle about the information I keep about you and your dogs and cats and how it is used and stored.
The following information is recorded on a dog or cat record sheet:
- Details of the dog/cat such as name, breed, likes, dislikes, feeding instructions, microchip details, emergency contact numbers and veterinary surgeons contact details. etc
- Any medical conditions your dog/cat may have i.e. sensitive skin, epilepsy etc
All record sheets are kept in hard copy form only and are filed alphabetically by surname in a filing system that is locked away overnight in our home.
Your name and address is stored on historical invoices I have issued to comly with HMRC rules on business operations.
Your name and contact number along with your dog/cats name is also stored on my mobile phone in case I need to contact you. Access to my mobile phone is protected by finger print recognition and a passcode.
I occasionally take pictures of your dog or cat, these are used for business purposes only and will only be displayed on my business Facebook page.
I DO NOT share any customer data or information with any third parties.
